The theme of the "pedestrian" the danger of technology to society, how people are stuck indoors not ever going out side. Bradbury gets his message across by giving a lot of detail making it feel like you are there, making you  imagine it. I think people walk in 2018 you might not see them but there is because I'm one of those people that walks, so is my friends. I don't see anything wrong with self driving cars to a certain extent  like you can't use it for long periods of time and you have to still sit in the drivers seat of course. I think that all of the technology and self driving cars are kinda both freedom/independents because you have a choose weather or not you can use them and people do.
